Guilty Breath

emotional turmoils of guilt before death

So do you arise

From the lies once said

In the last breaths, guilt laid

Unable to cherish

Oh whatever I built

has finally perished

To all the things I wished

and all the pain I dealt

now I lay aside

perhaps not ahead

what stays is what I lived

but not what could

Ashes to the ground

Lashes to my wound

Dear sleep sound

can't get enough

can't get any touch

can't let it rough

When voices blurr

choices stir

Does it really matter

if I were wrong or right

My thirst can't be drenched with water

Beyond the survival's fight

I shed my last smile

like a tear in the sky

That's really when I felt the weight of past

and the real meaning of what lasts
