And here we are again in the dark.
Unable to see a few inches in front of eyes.
And I turn to you and say “where do we go from here?”
And you turn to me and say “I don’t know kid”
For some reason I expected more.
I’m not sure what, but more than that.
And a light sparks, dim at first and then all of a sudden blinding.
A flash of white hot fluorescents.
Gone as quick as it had appeared
And then all at once blackness
And here we are again in the dark.
