Guardian angels, here our pleas
We're down on our knees
Please, give us our wings
So we can fly to the skies
Far above those evil eyes
Please, let me be the voice for the voiceless
a voice of truth
a voice of compassion
a voice of wisdom
a voice of reason
How many of us have to suffer & die?
How many babies have to cry?
Will we ever find grace in a world full of disgrace
where so many are displaced?
We are crying out to you
Guardian angels , here our pleas
We're on our knees
Begging for our wings, please
To fly high above those evil eyes that tear us down
Please, help us off the ground
Tired of the chaos and confusion and the burdens I bear
I question my existence
Am I worthy of still being here?
Taking up space, sucking up air
Do I dare?
Guardian angels, hear our pleas
We’re down on our knees
Please, give us our wings
To fly above those evil eyes
