Feeling Ambiguous

Never been quite able

To fit in

Pretending

Everything’s okay

The anguish never subsiding

Ready to fly (away)

To a place in the sky

Where I can be free

To just be me

Only deep down do I know the truth

Of the way it feels

To be so ambiguous

Stuck in hell, alone

On my own, tormented

No end in sight

Too broken to run

Feeling ambiguous, distraught

Never been quite able to fit in

I feel the numbness setting in

Will the world ever win?

Will we heal from the sins?

Will I ever fit in?

I’ve had enough

Nobody understands

What it feels like to be so ambiguous
