Cold whispers of memories safely keep
the secrets held within a stony heart,
so my deathly, dark soul you cannot reap

when entering into my deadened sleep.
Moonlit pale by a ghostly fright, chills start.
Cold whispers of memories safely keep

away old skeletons who quickly creep:
which, by morning light, will be torn apart,
so my deathly, dark soul you cannot reap

from this hallowed graveyard, buried too deep.
In this state, fearful truths cannot depart,
cold whispers of memories safely keep.

This frigid girl’s silence will never seep,
due magic only monsters can impart,
so my deathly, dark soul you cannot reap.
***
Scared by the sickly promise to repeat,
honest words stay frozen in this black heart.
