The Color Grey

Just like the sound of a gun that pushes you off the edge of a cliff right before you fly

Like the cry of an underweight baby you didn't want that brings forth a smile

Like the calm that comes in knowing you will never be enough for what you do not want

The hope, you always find in hopelessness

Approaching your demise but still ripping your chest apart to show the size of that bleeding heart

The care you give to the careless

Knowing you will fall but tilting still for a Snow White's Kiss

Like taking a sip from that stale water under the bridge with every glance

Like a rabbit hole that was never there without a stare

Like a million thoughts unfiltered

A sickness yet to be cured

A wanting unwanted

A curse yet to be undone

Love is a grey storm
