There I lie perched upon rocks
Patiently awaiting the green leaf
I wait in rain
I wait in heat
I wait in darkness
I wait until the Green leaf opens the light in my soul
I reminisce on times it wait for me, sitting on its tree
Awaiting my arrival and watching over me
Whenever we both meet I and The Green leaf
Meet in fruitful joy and love, a time of eternal light
Then the process repeats
The Green leaf will wait
The Green leaf waits in rain
The Green leaf waits in heat
The Green leaf waits in Darkness
Perched upon its tree
