Grasp and Release
A conversation between holding on and letting go
You see that? I wanna clutch it.
But your fingers are strained with pain because you refuse to NOT touch it.
I can’t release this, it’s stronger than you’ll ever know.
And it’ll keep you prisoner if you don’t let it go.
I can’t help it, I wanna grasp it and hold it tight.
But it would be better to hold it light.
I’m afraid that if I do that then it would cease to exist.
But you have to release it to exist.
I want right now to be always and forever.
Then you have to let go or always will be never.
I want to have a calm mind of peace in this thing.
So do what you have to do and start releasing this thing.
