Granny at the fair
Granny loved the fair,
sitting tall on the ride,
her cheeks rosy,
a big smile wide.
The horses went up,
the lights all around,
Granny was soaring,
feet off the ground.
She laughed with the wind,
so free, so bright,
Granny loved the fair,
it felt just right.
With every turn,
her joy would grow,
the world below
seemed to slow.
The music played,
the lights did shine,
Granny’s heart
felt so divine.
She’d wave to the crowd,
as the ride spun fast,
holding onto moments
that forever would last.
No cares, no worries,
just pure delight,
Granny felt young
on that magical night.
The horses would circle,
her laughter would ring,
a simple reminder
of the joy that life brings.
