When nights are long, and fear kicks in
I feel her presence, moving in
My grandmother arrives, to calm my fear
It is dark, but her presence is near
Her gentle light, touches my face
She wraps me in, I close my eyes
Though time and life, made her depart
She is in my heart, I know she is near
When nights are dark, she kindly appears
A ghost perhaps, but not to fear
She brings me peace, I know she is near
