Graceful Colors in Me

Purple makes me feel like royalty which is what I wear when I’m on my mission

Golden is the shade of my heartbeats behind my strength and my vision

Blues is what I’m hearing when I listen to these heartfelt soulful stories

Green is what we all see as the empowering glory

Red is sharpness and being courageous enough to help the next

Because when things where dark and blackened life was only a mess

Prayer and meditation...these, just felt so right

Made me think that my prayers were answered as God was brightening that white light

Orange shows happiness and success...did I forget to mention?

With that resilient slash of yellow that joy is showing a lot less tension

I can wake daily wishing I was colorful to an extension

As long as I know that I’m making my mark on this world.... I’ll be one rainbow of a mission
