Grace in the wild

unbridled

By Taylor WardPublished about a year ago 1 min read
The pursuit of grace and grit

In the untamed embrace of a sun-drenched field,

where wildflowers bow to the whims of the wind,

there lived a child of raw, unbridled spirit,

her laughter a cascade of untamed joy.

Her hair was a tangle of autumn leaves,

her eyes pools of the forest’s deepest green,

a free spirit, dancing with the shadows of the trees,

her heart a wild drumbeat in rhythm with the earth.

She roamed through meadows like a breeze,

her touch a caress to the rough bark of ancient oaks,

her voice a call to the animals,

a symphony of wonder to the creatures of the wild.

But beneath the wild, there was a yearning,

a whisper of grace seeking to soften the edges,

a quiet plea for transformation amidst the chaos.

And so, grace descended like morning dew on the meadow,

gently settling on her unruly soul.

It was not a flood, but a whispering rain,

a touch of light that unraveled the tangled knots,

a breeze that soothed the tempest of her heart.

In the embrace of grace, she found a new rhythm,

a melody that wove through the untamed spaces of her being.

Her love for animals and nature deepened,

not as a wild chase, but as a gentle communion,

a reverence for the beauty in the untamed,

now framed by the quiet grace that had found her.

She remained a child of the wild,

but now, her wildness was tempered with grace,

her steps lighter, her laughter softer,

a testament to the transformation wrought by love.
