Governor DeSantis Plays a Game of Chess With Florida State College Presidents

Governor DeSantis
has decided to grant us
with his sleek game of chess.
Less we think it’s just simple pawns tripping from the board of chaos.
It’s all going to cost us
some sanity,
and a temptation to use some profanity.
He’s placed all the Florida state college presidents exactly where he wants them to be,
as if he’s the king, without proper rules,
twisting the arms of the board members and trustees!
Will he try to make his wife the queen in the coming year?
His goals may be noble but the methodology just doesn’t make much sense,
at least to a simple pawn like me…
