He thinks it's easy to come back, but you're done believing. The warmth and confidence he's looking for, you can't and won't give it. You won't indulge his whims or take on his joys and sorrows anymore. He was once the wind, but now he's just a fart.

He won't ever understand that both joy and cruelty can be deeply etched in your heart. He doesn't realize that you're not just saying goodbye to him; you're also finally letting go of your own stubborn self.
