Goodbye childhood, I'm leaving today.
I'm off to a place where everything's grey.
Where I have to work instead of play.
Where there is nowhere safe to stay.
Where people come then go away.
Where today's just a copy of yesterday.
Goodbye childhood.
Goodbye to the friends in my head.
Goodbye to the dreams I had while laying in bed.
Goodbye school and homework I never wanted to do.
Goodbye all the dreams I thought would come true.
Goodbye childhood.
Wanting to grow up but I could never understand,
the goodbye to my childhood that went on in my head.
