Good bye cruel winter

I thank the lord it’s nearly spring

Good bye cruel winter

Goodbye, cruel cold winter, it’s time for you to go,

Make way for spring, can you hear my heart sing?

You kept me prisoner in my own home,

All because of the snow and frosty ice you’ve thrown.

Now I want to break free from thee,

Goodbye, cruel winter, go now, let me be.

Your grip is loosening, the thaw has begun,

The days are growing warmer, the long night is done.

I’ll embrace the sunshine, the blooms that will rise,

And feel the joy that comes with the skies.

Goodbye, cruel winter, no more cold strife,

Spring breathes new hope into this cold life.
