Gold

When I see river currents flow from south to north, and from north to south, to north to south, all in a sweep

In a twinkle and flicker of dance play upon the river

I'm reminded, the uneven block of resistance cast over unseen gifts in grey-white are no match for this magnetic propensity to draw out its opposite.

Fleck

Flick, and continue to dive, and erupt into a dance play over the river.

Kintsugi liquid spills through broken cracks and crevices, highlighting the pieces that remain.

In the allowing, and through the pouring of strands, the moons crevices are highlighted.

Dependent upon clear skies, pre-sunset at Lake St. Clair,

it’s breath, is a fuzzy outline over a flock of goslings in synchronized steps behind their matriarch.
