Godzilla

King of Monsters

By Theresa M HochstinePublished 4 years ago 1 min read

With thunderous steps, he marches on.

His lethal claws, carving ferociously into the pavement,

His grotesque reptilian skin glistened with the water of the Pacific.

His enormous figure towering over buildings.

He lifts his Jurassic snout toward the sky,

And exhausts the most horrifying cry.

The fires of Seattle filled the sky,

With shades of red, orange, and yellow.

The pleading screams on citizens,

Begging for something or someone to come to their aid.

The elegant giant beast standing as the centerpiece in the chaos.

A foul three-headed beast with wings plunges him to the ground once more.

A great thrust of wind blows and a bright light approach,

She heard his cry for help and now races towards him.

She flutters her rainbow, transparent wings and,

She thrusts her stinger into the beast's back.

She falls in flames as the beast torches her with his lighting breath.

The Queen has fallen, so her King may prevail.

And the King will avenge his Queen.
