Goddess in the Rain

a short poem

By Ariel ThornPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I've felt, as I have felt before, a wickedness and shame,

The only time I’m truly free is with the Goddess in the rain.

I bare my soul, release my fear, let go of all my pain,

And she is there to comfort me, the Goddess in the rain.

With eyes of bluest sapphire, that shine with deepest flame,

She melts away all of my fears, the Goddess in the rain.

For only she can claim me, and I am hers to tame,

I’ll follow her through space and time, the Goddess in the rain.
