God’s Thumbprint

an acrostic poem

Every now and then, the lighting flickers. In early June, when rows of

Calla lilies glow, aburst, in ivory trumpets by the moon, or when the

Lilt of woodlark interludes the daybreak’s glitter--

I see fireflies that glimmer in my mind’s obscure lagoon. Yet, it’s all about

Perspective: what do you believe? The dark can be reflective; a tiny seed will try to bud without a ray of light--

Sometimes we bloom by tune of day, sometimes we grow reluctantly through night. In this small blink of efflorescence--in this adumbrant whisper, softly sung--do you believe that this

Eclipse might be God’s thumbprint on the sun?

Eternally for Eternity, I've always been raised a believer Called to understand the mysterious, wonderous, ways that this universe works as I am more than just a cog in its gears Looking for answers, trying to figure how we all fit together yet Interwoven we are via Particles that pull and push as String Theory that connects the smallest subatomic particle of this pocket watch that Benjamin Franklin theorized that such a creator made it uniquely perfect. As our universe if rational, so if the universe is the Created and Creator in one, then the Creator is rational too. From the smallest grain of sand, to the subatomic scale, to even the Moon Eclipsing the sun, we all have the strength of the creator in us. So, the thumbprint of the creator viewed on the sun, might be hard to see, as we all are unique thumbprints left by the Cosmic Creationary Power of Creation, indeed.
