The creatures of the light lead such structured lifestyles. That is at least the observation of us night dwellers.

Sharing a brief moment with our daylight counterparts, you know when the sun kisses the horizon.

I live a life in the ‘dream realm’ sharing it with a barn owl who sits up high in the hollow of a willow tree.

With such warmth and softness, harmony follows with little resistance.

She’s so gentle, so graceful.

Gnyala is her name.

A silent wisdom emanating from her eyes. She’s lived many lifetimes, many before my time here.

She protects us here in our dream realm, watching from the sky’s and sharing her wisdom and guidance with us when and only when she feels we are ready to hear it.

We often wonder what lessons she’s gone through to have such a wealth of knowledge, the kind we seek to possess.

She’s taught us all about the marriage between the sun and moon.

She’s shown us that the sun wields our truth and that the moon is tripped by illusions.

She’s taught us to focus our gaze in the shadows of night and in doing so we can adjust to our environment and see through it with clarity.

It is because of the wisdom of our dear friend, that shows us night dwellers more than what we see with our nocturnal eyes.
