I’m loving my new glasses,
Some say it’s for the old,
Great glasses over elegant eyelashes,
Glasses that make me glow make me feel good.
Does not matter if they are not made from gold,
and I don't want to go into madness
because of the comments that are cold
Truthfully, beauty is what I am seeing,
Glasses make me feel like I am gleaming,
Validation is not what I am seeking,
What matters most is how I’m feeling
Lousy comments and I’m just leaving
Anyways, with my glasses, I’ll be reading.
Despite wearing glasses, you will receive a love that is unconditional
Just know that someone betraying you over glasses is fictional,
Love your glasses, and if you don’t,
then buy a pair that makes you feel beautiful.
