Ghosts in the City

(Verse 1)
In a Boston bar, where the evenings glow,
She’s on the stage, singing soft and low.
A spotlight shines, and the world fades away,
But in the crowd, there's a fire that won’t stay.
(Pre-Chorus)
When their eyes met, time stood still,
Like a spark igniting on a distant hill.
Two souls drawn close, yet drifting apart,
Twin flames colliding, but missing the start.
(Chorus)
Fierce and intense, like the autumn breeze,
But the night slipped away with effortless ease.
Caught in a moment, but they couldn’t break free,
Ghosts in the shadows, lost in the scene.
(Verse 2)
She sang of the dreams that they couldn’t ignite,
He felt the pull, the whisper of night.
But the bar's crowded echoes drowned out their chance,
Two hearts in a whirlwind, too scared to advance.
(Pre-Chorus)
The melody lingered, heavy with grace,
Yet they were strangers in a familiar place.
With every note played, the longing grew strong,
But fate took them dancing, while all felt so wrong.
(Chorus)
Fierce and intense, like the autumn breeze,
But the night slipped away with effortless ease.
Caught in a moment, but they couldn’t break free,
Ghosts in the shadows, lost in the scene.
(Bridge)
As the lights flickered low and the last song was sung,
They drifted apart, still tasting their tongue.
In the fading twilight, a connection unmade,
Two twin flames flickering, love left in shade.
(Chorus)
Fierce and intense, like the autumn breeze,
But the night slipped away with effortless ease.
Caught in a moment, but they couldn’t break free,
Ghosts in the shadows, forever to be.
(Outro)
In a Boston bar where lost moments reside,
Two hearts still burning, with nowhere to hide.
A love left unspoken, a spark in the night,
Twin flames forever, lost in the light.
