gateways & a smile

these are my thoughts.

i write because i can use my words

and they are powerful.

passionate.

what is it with me and passion?

it seems as though i am here every day.

i am creative

and i love it.

i watch plays

i write because i want to achieve

and share my story

it is my escape.

i go to "someplace else"

it is better than here

it is everywhere

and nowhere

and it is special

it is mine.

my mind.

safe

warm

kind.

(i don't usually rhyme)

it makes me smile

writing here

i smile as i write that

it is ironic

but it is true

and i love it

so beautiful

to create

something that no one else will make

because this moment is mine

and you're having yours

and that's special.

i cannot take your place

do not try to take mine.

(i promise, you have better things to do, besides, it isn't your time yet)

take your time

i write because i am happy

i want people to know that i am happy

i sing

i write

i am happy

i do!

i sing to myself

gosh,

i had't done that in years.

YEARS!

and now i do!

its nice,

a little bit of nonsense...

some notes of mismatched joy

nothing important

everything happy

still poetry.

...

wow. that's long.

i tend to just keep writing.

but my heart is happy to do it

and i won't stop myself,

because i want to do what makes me happy.

be happy,

humans.

be human,

happy.

and smile when you are ready to be human.

don't worry.

take your time.

the doorway will still be here.

i will return your smile

and keep writing.
