Once upon a mythological age...

a famous Greek poet named Homer wrote an epic legend

that intertwined Spartan history, the Trojan War, and

the abduction of a beautiful woman

The sixteenth-century story tells the world about Helen of Troy

the wife of King Menelaus, who held the infamous title of

being "The face that launched a thousand ships"

but found herself in love with a prince named Paris that had

chosen her for himself.

Like a thief in the night, the prince kidnapped queen Helen

and led her far away...

infuriating King Menelaus into leading an expedition

to reclaim the queen across the Asia Minor Sea.

The important lesson of this epic poem has become legendary

war strategy for all unsuspecting enemies to know...

The Greek army climbed inside a huge wooden horse and

presented themselves as a gift inside the Trojan city walls

Late at night they climbed out of the horse to reclaim the

kidnapped queen and to watch the empire of Troy crumble and fall

surreal poetry
