Future Echoes
what might happen if I am lucky and brave

I hear the cry of gulls along with bustling crowds, all around me goes silent, ... I hear only her
I see crowded promenades and city lights, my eyes scan and I see nothing ... see nothing but her
I taste salt in the harbour air mix with the saliva in my throat as nervously ... I approach her
I smell the city odours merge with restaurant steam, until something new ... the scent of her
I touch my chest, heart beating harder than I can handle, with an embrace ... I finally feel her
