My lap is warmed

By your presence

Please don't wander away

My foot may numb, my tea gets cold

Small prices that I pay

For the time with you is never taken for granted

I am blessed

With purrs and furs you leave behind

Woven into my soul and dress

My foot my numb, my tea gets told - small prices you pay. Absolutely beautiful. Nicely Done!!

This is so sweet! I have three cats beside me as I read this. (I wish I had a lint roller because their hairs are all over my sweater.) I didn't even think to write about my pets for this challenge. I have read a ton of poems about family members, self-love, and mostly about romantic love. This is the first take on the challenge I've read about kitties! ⚡💙⚡
