Treasures nestling at my feet.
Colours gentle, soothing, sweet.
Walking over forest tracks, seeing life unfold at my step.
Hearing nothing except the rustle of leaves, the sound of my heartbeat and the chirp and hum of birds and insects as they carry on around me in daily routine.
Their lives calming my soul as the forest takes root. My breathing changes, inhaling long and slow and deep. The shallow, sharp breaths of my day disappearing in a wash of green and rusty browns.
Scents surround me, clearing my lungs of heavy pollution. Freeing my chest to swell in size and take in everything positive, pushing away the negativity. Natural moving away synthetic.
The powerful actions of anchoring in nature claiming me once again.
Breathe deep, slow down, take in the moment and just be here.
