Bullet holes
...shots
hurt
*
dark recesses
riddled
*
rip fresh
shards flesh
*
fractured
bloody lifeline
dripping
*
soul
emptied
*
lies
pushed
*
hatred
self-loathing
refilled
*
pieces
pulled
together
*
patchwork
*
plastered
wounds
*
old
tattered
torn
f---ing
Babushka dolls
*
failings
*
doubt seedlings
like
dandellions
blowing
in the wind
*
renders
the past
devoid
*
unhindered growth
when given time
chance
a season to develop
*
fufillment
*
Thanks for reading!

Unfettered violence is a growth industry and does all the terrible things you list in your poem over and over and over again.
Oh no - never the recycle bin (or trash in digital) 🙀
I thought it might be a Poppy prompt!
