Bullet holes

...shots

hurt

*

dark recesses

riddled

*

rip fresh

shards flesh

*

fractured

bloody lifeline

dripping

*

soul

emptied

*

lies

pushed

*

hatred

self-loathing

refilled

*

pieces

pulled

together

*

patchwork

*

plastered

wounds

*

old

tattered

torn

f---ing

Babushka dolls

*

failings

*

doubt seedlings

like

dandellions

blowing

in the wind

*

renders

the past

devoid

*

unhindered growth

when given time

chance

a season to develop

*

fufillment

*
