Come Harvest the fruits

Let’s drink the wine of the vine

Death comes for us all

* * * * * * * * * *

Fruits of the labor

Laid out in bowls and platters

Let us sit and dine

Harvesting the souls

Whether for heaven or hell

A labor of death

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.

    The poem reflects on the rewards of life and the inevitability of death. A fruit abonnement is a sweet reminder of life's cycles and rewards.

    "Fruits of the Labor" is a common idiom that refers to the rewards or benefits that come from hard work, effort, and dedication. It suggests that the results or outcomes achieved are the direct consequence of one's labor and perseverance. In a broader sense, it signifies the satisfaction, success, or tangible rewards that individuals or groups obtain as a result of their endeavors. https://allfruitrolls.com/
