Icicle Cave

Frozen

Piercing frigid air,

Pins and needles on my face.

Breathing becomes sharp.

Trapped in glacial air,

Frozen water lines the walls

In sharp icicles.

Shivering is an

Understatement when the end

Feels nearer than warmth.

I long for fire to

Thaw my frozen bones, let the

Water melt the pain.
