The crisp winter air
brushing past my cheeks with its frosty, icy stare.
You would think that this would bother me
as literally everything around me is decaying and dying
brimming with death.
But, quite the opposite, through the darkness
I Am Reborn.
Mother nature's frigid grasp
has left me breathless before,
making me gasp.
The beauty and aura
of the lights in the darkness,
evermoreso illuminating.
Humankind's winter grip
on the other hand,
brings us to the brink of death and despair,
running, RUNNING
until our legs give out
until we can run no more
mindless, dreamless,
back to where we came from
with a torrent and a whirlwind twirl
of emotional screams and face clawing
hair pulling breath withholding face drowning
lifeless. Lifeless. life. Less.
Human nature and mother Nature
eternally connected. Eternally one and
The Same. Without one, there is no other.
constant. flickering, Waiting to be estinguished
But Burning Bright Evermore. Simmering ashes,
never Estinguished. Waiting patiently.
Never Forgotten. Stories wrapped, stories Warped
stories telling ofWinter.
