From Strangers to Lovers and Back Again

We were once strangers, passing each other by,

But fate had a plan for us, as the stars aligned in the sky.

Our first encounter was brief, just a simple hello,

But little did we know, our friendship would grow.

As we spent more time together, getting to know one another,

Our bond became stronger, like two pieces of leather.

We laughed, we talked, we shared our dreams and fears,

And before we knew it, we were falling in love with each other's cheers.

Our love blossomed like flowers on a summer's day,

And every moment spent together felt like a holiday.

But as time went on, our love began to fade,

The flame that once burned so brightly, began to dissipate.

We tried to hold on tight, but it was no use,

Our hearts had drifted apart like two boats let loose.

Now here we are again, back where we started from,

Two strangers passing each other by in the sun.

Though our love has faded away, our memories still remain,

Of how we went from strangers to lovers and back again.
