From Dusk Till Dawn

Rainbow

By Persephone - Layla - Isis Published 5 years ago 1 min read

My son's favourite colour is rainbow

Or so he says to me

These days it’s probably black or grey

To fit in with the teens

I miss the days of rainbows

And magic in the sky

Now a days the winter greys

Are all the colours fly

I miss my boys and all the colour they

brought to my life

Now alone and waiting for the day to

dull my knife

From dusk to dawn his colours flew

Pink, orange and a shade of blue

And all the time I wondered

If my sons my love they knew

Or if it all was plundered

When they come back I think I’ll show them

what blues sky’s can be

But for now its as though they never quite knew me
