From Apples to Almonds

Last night in the bath, for the first time ever,

I tried something fancy, felt kinda clever.

Usually, it's apple, cheap and so plain,

But this sweet almond scent was a nice little change.

Life's been shifting, things looking up,

I thought about it all, soaking in my tub.

How things can get better, how quickly they do,

But part of me wondered, "Do I deserve this too?"

From apples to almonds, it's quite a switch,

A reminder to myself, life's not just a glitch.

In these little moments, these scents that surprise,

I start to see my worth, through different eyes.

The warmth of the water, the smell in the air,

A sign that I'm healing, that life's starting to care.

I’m seeing my value in these simple, sweet things,

From apples to almonds, and the joy it brings.

In the soft glow of evening, feeling pretty good,

I get it now, I’m worth it, just like I should.

So here's to the journey, to scents new and grand,

From apples to almonds, I finally understand.
