I fancy another flavour,
Could this explain my behaviour?
Lovely serpentine, you’ve tempted me—
I’ve eaten every apple off the tree.
I’m sorry, did I sabotage our Eden?
My beauty, you are lush like Sweden.
You cut me to the core—
I have fear about us sadly,
But still I want more,
And I will savour you gladly.
Where is the fun in straight lines?
We risk paying some hefty fines—
If I go to Hell, then you’re worth burning for.
I’ve never seen a fallen angel more mystical,
Or heard words so lyrical;
And felt touch so magical—
I didn’t mean it when I said this could be bad,
The fact that I feared so makes me very sad.
If I died tomorrow and Heaven didn’t exist,
The fear would be for nothing,
And, girl, we sure have something.
Baby, I’m a liberal:
I don’t care anymore,
I see the beauty in both genders;
To give me love you don’t need to be a man;
You satisfy me in every way;
Deep down I know everything will be OK.
For you I’d throw all my money in a well till I was broke,
All the riches in the world are worth nothing if I can’t have you.
Now that I’ve spoken,
Can’t you see I love you?
You’re natural like a bluebell,
My most favourite flower.
I’d never pick you,
For you would die,
But I would nurture you,
As I’d want to grow with you.
I dream about you every day and night,
You are an avenue to be explored—
Because when I’m with you it feels right,
These feelings cannot be ignored.
I cannot live a lie,
Never did me any good.
I must always speak the truth:
And our love is living proof.
