I do not value people because of their:

Origin of roots

Or colour of skin.

But by their:

Quality of heart

And openness of mind.

Just remember:

We all bleed red.

Why fight with others?

Fearful of difference,

Causing infinite pain;

Ending a life—

We have no right.

Dismantling rainbows;

Shade by hue—

We wonder why,

We never know gold.

Someone sabotaged,

Autumnal arrays.

Dare leaves contrast?

Down they are cast—

Trees are chopped down,

For not being pure oak.

Some do not care,

That trees provide air.

Areas are collapsing,

With atmospheres relapsing.

Tarred with the same brush,

Painted in a harsh light.

Some cases are accurate,

Yet other natures display,

A varying palette:

Pastel shades restful to eyes;

Bright hues warming hearts.

Beauty comes in unique packages,

But character makes it matter.

Wonders of the seabed would remain unknown,

If we never looked beyond the ocean’s surface.

We may be different colours but:

We all bleed red.
