Framed in Silence
A Ghazal of Memory, Absence and Lingering Light

This ghazal explores the fragile space between memory and absence—where love lives on in silence, images, and the breath of poetry. Through moonlight, prayer, and fading colors, the speaker quietly mourns a love that left behind everything… except the feeling.
With your thought, my night filled with the music of silence,
The moon spilled into my eyes a fire without guidance.
Your footprints bloomed and vanished through the path of my chest,
But my heart still kneels—beating in prayer, unrest.
The streets are empty, rain taps softly on glass,
A shadow lost within the pond where faded dreams pass.
Alone in this night, I breathe your sorrow and flame,
Weaving poems that fall like berries, whispering your name.
You left—and now my memory glows in your hue,
Like an old photograph framed in silence, ever true.
