FRAGMENTS OF A BROKEN HEART

A Symphony of Sorrow and Resilience

By Laura NicolePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In the depths of a shattered soul's abyss,

Where sorrow's tempest holds its chilling kiss,

Lies a tale of a heartbreak, raw and true,

A symphony of pain, a melody askew.

Once upon a time, love bloomed so bright,

Two souls entwined, bathed in purest light,

But fate's cruel hand intervened with strife,

And darkness cloaked the promise of their life.

Words like daggers pierced the tender heart,

Ripping apart dreams, tearing them apart,

Promises whispered now echoes of lies,

Love's sweetest melodies turned to bitter cries.

Within the depths of despair's haunting gaze,

A broken heart weeps through endless days,

Its fragments scattered, strewn across the floor,

Lost in a labyrinth, yearning for amour.

Memories, like ghosts, haunt the sleepless night,

Embracing pain, drowning in endless plight,

Each teardrop shed carries a tale untold,

A fragile heart, with wounds that won't unfold.

But through the darkness, a flicker remains,

A spark of strength amidst the tears and pains,

For in heartbreak's wake, resilience shall rise,

Phoenix-like, soaring through sorrow's demise.

With time, wounds heal, though scars may yet remain,

A bittersweet reminder of love's cruel terrain,

But in the depths of healing, lessons reside,

For a broken heart finds solace and learns to abide.

So let the echoes of heartbreak subside,

Embrace the lessons gained, let them be your guide,

For even in the depths of love's demise,

A stronger heart emerges, forged through the cries.
