Fractured Moon

(Aching Silence)

The moon hangs fractured, a mirrored soul,

Shattered pieces clinging to a hole.

Its silver light spills, a mournful sigh,

Reflecting tears that dim the sky.

Words unspoken, a choked refrain,

Lost in the echo of whispered pain.

Empty spaces where hands once met,

Aching silence, a lingering regret.

Love's fragile thread, frayed and thin,

Snapped by whispers, where trust couldn't win.

Memories dance, bittersweet and bright,

But moonlight shadows hold the darkest night.

Yet from the cracks, a new light may bloom,

Resilience rising, dispelling gloom.

The fractured moon, a symbol bold,

Healing slowly, a story untold.
