You've spent years teetering on an outburst
You suppress it, it's merely a fracture, a splint
But each time you move against kind it spreads
The fracture stretches into a network of webs
It becomes a road map to your mental imposition
You spin your web, covering the the truth tangled beneath
You're not going to make it
You're loosing yourself to the agenda
You suppress
The fracture will never regress
You can barely walk to peace, you're crawling, her gaze lifted in tears
Maybe that's what you wanted
You'd never quit, too many eyes watching you, judging you
But if you failed, no one could say you didn't hold it together
You realize then, the fracture was inflicted by your own hand
Your chisel and hammer was your ignorance and pride
premeditated fracture
The help didn't come because you didn't speak your truth
...you're human...and legendary is for fables
