Little boy alone:

I start as a child with books.

No shared love with them.

*

School for achievement?

Certificates and good grades.

No sign of my life.

*

Less of me as I

travel, teach and live abroad.

Not much left to see.

*

Last home? My head and

heart will also come to smoke,

vapor and nothing.

*

Temporary and True

I loved this one Kendall - made me feel quite sad.

Loved the punchiness of using the haiku format. It made the weight of the sadness in each word really land.
