Four Elements

haikus about the four elements

By Katherine GliddenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Worms will stir the dirt

tectonic plates slowly dance;

the earth never sleeps.

Desire, yearning:

burning hot, then dying out

but then, is reborn.

Salt stings at my eyes

my lungs burn, but it is here:

peace. Underwater.

Cold air and hot air

gives life, causes destruction:

beautiful chaos.
