Serenity's hands grasp tightly upon my flesh, affording me the time and patience to be completely me, to be the me that receives others as they are, for in their presentation I am stable enough not to entertain threat's cynical whispers, I overlook jelousy's selfish claims, and I reject disdain's judgemental suggestions, seeing only what has been chosen to be seen. For I, as the color blue, represent the calm one desires in a storm, the inspiration sought when confidence is unsure of himself, I am the wisdom disected from simple fortune cookie, I am me. Loving, supportive, protective, and caring. I am the offspring of peace, for her DNA flows through my blood stream, fortifying the foundation upon which I build my sanctum of acceptance and understanding.
