Fortune's Missing
You're A Little Late? Poem
By Canuck Scriber Lisa LachapellePublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Turmoil, triumph, outcome, what better way to say you're welcome than the finest gift of all to see them taller than the rest
Since the outcome is the finest dish to serve yourself
The turbulent persuasion is a sort of deja vu turned the other way around
Perhaps a vow of silence better serves the winds
Maybe mauve-like showers sparkle the mind a bit
Truant cycles a bit of a reprieve
Just give me my money

Yeah, just give me the money! Love it.

I read this as finding revenge a difficult dish to serve! I like the imagery of the mauve-like showers being some consolation.
This was great, I loved the imagery of redemption (and revenge?)
