Forever

by Sam Harty

By ᔕᗩᗰ ᕼᗩᖇTYPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Ink bleeds from my heart to the page,

these poems penned for love's silent stage.

Every line longing to say, words for your eyes

alone and for love, a gift, I could never repay.

Though you may not love me the same,

my verses remain – forever in your name.

Lovely Sam. I really like these two lines because they are so true. Seldom is a love relationship equally balanced. "Though you may not love me the same, my verses remain – forever in your name."
