There’s grandad, sturdy as an oak,

And there is grandma, her gentle grace,

A soft light shining from her familiar face.

Each page turned tells a story dear,

Of gatherings, holidays, and joy-filled years.

Yet, in the corners, shadows creep,

For those we loved, in our hearts, they sleep.

Uncle Joe, with his hearty laugh,

Auntie May, always a caring path.

They too inhabit this cherished space,

In every smile, in every embrace.

Though time has taken some from our side,

Their spirits linger, forever our guide.

In each picture, each word, they live on,

In the rhythm of family, the love that’s never gone.
