Glow

Sitting upon my aerie.
As though sitting upon a chair.
Smiling I watch this faery.
Approaching from far to near.

Majestic her flight was,
Captivated! I lost in a stare!
For your aura exists thus.
Alike the god of love’s spear.

As if inclined to fever,
Put it my body in a heat.
Making of me a firm believer.
My doubtfulness? In retreat!

That in you exist a beauty.
Which eyes, need one not to see!
For should I have been born blind.
You would still be the one for me.

An intensity of radiance.
From this aura is exuded
That any and all romance.
‘twill for sure be polluted.

From this pollution
Such vines of passion grows.
Engulfing all my thoughts.
The result? Who knows!

Stay chasing you I will!
This I’m sure you know.
Now and forever, until,
The stars have lost their glow!
