For You

A love poem

For you I would write a five hundred page novel,

Proclaiming my love across all of the pages.

For you I would find any distance to travel,

Just so I could hold you safe in my arms.

For you I would go to the depths of the world,

Searching for the treasure that is your love.

For you I would face an army of wolves,

Fighting another day just to remain by your side.

For you I would visit the top of a mountain,

To place a flag of my devotion for the whole world to see.

For you I would sell everything that I own,

Just to start a life with you, my bethrothed.

For you I would do anything that it takes,

Just to be with you always, forever, and a day.

I wonder if this is enough for you?
