At Doctor's Office

I hate the spendings on healthcare bill

At the doctor’s office,

I am tense.

She asks, “Why so?”

Don’t you know?

The bill you will give

will bankrupt us.

I hate things

that makes my spouse’s wallet thinner.

I am dependent,

and I loathe it,

dwindling his savings,

which is already slim.

While probing my teeth,

she talks to her assistant:

Seema is better wife.

She doesn’t like making her spouse pay.

I make my husband buy a smartwatch.”

I look at her.

you’re working,

taking thousands of dollars

as salary, am I?

Keep your hypocrisy to yourself.

By the way,

I am not only better wife,

maybe better academically too.

A PhD and two master’s in biology

do not come just like that.

Circumstances favored you,

that's other thing.

Maybe it never will,

destiny is random.

Just do your duty

and let me go

before the bill swells.

Sadly, your dentist isn't a very nice person, thinking it's funny others buy her things (husband bought her a smartwatch....) Doctors should show more compassion

  • Sadly, this is hilarious! My dentist doesn’t charge much and is very friendly and amusing.🤗
